CLEAN RESTURANT WITH NICE COUNTER HELP. This was our first time to dine in at this location. The place was neat and tidy. The counter help was courteous. We had 2 piece chicken dinners with a rolls, drinks, sides and we ordered two fried pies. The total was just under $24.00. We will put this place into our rotation and update this review.

Let me tell you we went to Kerrville about a month ago. Stopped on the way back home(Killeen) and got some fish. My mom talked about it for the whole month. Finally yesterday after work, I was able to take her again. She called when we were about 10 miles out ordering an 8 piece. Fish was hot and still on point. I almost want to go back today.

Chicken tenders were fresh and delicious.. although the fried pickles were made early a.m. and set aside for me until I arrived later in the evening. I would definetly go back for the chicken

I could eat these great, perfectly crispy tenders from Chicken E any day ! ... & frequent this place so often, that some of my friends think I actually own stock here not to mention their sweet tea is ALWAYS on point

I love chicken & fresh tasty sides. I drive by a KFC to get chicken from Chicken Express. They have mouth watering chicken breasts and a great selection of sides, my favorite is the corn nuggets. Their sweet tea is the best anywhere and the best part is the staff, always friendly and welcoming and the prices have been kept low and affordable. My go to fast food restaurant in the area. Thanks for three years of great food and service.

Hands down the best fast-food type fried chicken place around. Excellent tenders, fries, corn nuggets, mashed potatoes & gravy, and even tea. Very clean dining room, kitchen, restroom, patio, and parking lot. If there were one in the Killeen/Cove/Heights area, I would be there 3-4 times a week
